The richest and most spectacular part of the exhibition is the hall of the original, historical airplanes. Here we can see representatives of the survived different specimens that had been flown in Hungary, which are not for everyday occurrence, among them are planes like the “Royal’ Junkers F-13 or the double world record holder Aszód Lloyd from 1914, mentioned as rarity worldwide. Here we also can see several well-known aircraft types – products of the Kossuth-prize-awarded to late Ernő Rubik Senior’s work for many decades – such as the powered R-18 Kánya and the light and gracile gliders Vöcsök, Lepke and Pils. At the end of the exhibition we will meet the results of space research and astronautics.
