HA-BCB register number, Mi-2 helicopter is being renewed.
The helicopter was manufactured in 1979, it served by the National Ambulance Service in Székesfehérvár between 1980 and 1989; it was transported to its present exhibition place in 1999. The surface of the Mi-2 will be ground and washed, then a ground coat will be applied on it. After this, K2 high-gloss paint will be spread on it, according to the original paintjob. The work will be finished until the middle of June at latest. The process will be carefully documented and shared on the Facebook page and the website of The Museum of Transport.
