What inspired the development of communications? How did we get from smoke and sound signals to the hydraulic telegraph? What inventive solutions did our predecessors discover?

Place: Museum of Electrical Engineering, Budapest (Budapest, Kazinczy utca 21. H-1075 )
TIME: 26.02.2016 – 31.12.2018

The exhibition answers all these questions.

Rudimentary signalling devices, electrophones, devices of sound recording: freshly restored pieces lead us through the evolution of telecommunication, showing the roles of world-famous inventors and experimenters, and displaying the everydays of the heroic age of the radio.
