Connections – Exhibition opening in the Foundry

Our most recent temporary exhibition opened on the 26th October in the Ábrahám Ganz Foundry Collection.

The new exhibition is open to the visitors until the end of March next year, and commemorates the work of one of the greatest Hungarian bridge designer. A speech was delivered by Zsuzsanna Pisch, General Secretary of Hidászokért Egyesület, while the exhibition was opened by Dávid Vitézy, General Director of the Museum of Transport. In his speech he praised the importance of Feketeházy as a designer, the indefeasible values of his work, while emphasising how essential it is to commemorate the unique creations of the bridge designer, since we take delight in his works throughout Budapest and the whole country. The afternoon was made special by the waltz harmonies played on the piano by Kristóf Darvas. The opening was finished by the guided tour delivered by Csaba Domonkos, the organiser of the exhibition.
